Man of integrity

How great will it feel to vote for Mike McCabe for governor?

Mike was raised on a farm and has deep rural roots. He doesn’t belong to any political party. He isn’t a professional politician or career office holder. For decades Mike has put principle over party as an independent watchdog battling against big money in politics and the legal bribery of our elected representatives.

He’s called out both Democrats and Republicans whenever he has seen wrongdoing or ethical misconduct. His life’s work has been fighting corruption and getting regular people a voice in our government.

Mike believes governors should be servants and not masters. To him, that means a governor is under the people, not above them. That’s why he won’t live in the governor’s mansion if elected and won’t accept the full salary of the governor (but rather will only take one dollar less than the average Wisconsin worker makes).

Mike isn’t a broken record about what he is against. He focuses on what he is for. He offers an inspiring vision of a government and economy that work for all of us and not just the wealthy and well-connected, debt-free education, health care for all, high-speed Internet to every doorstep, clean energy development, better roads and water quality protections. And he has the common sense and work ethic he got on the farm to make it happen.

Mike McCabe is a man of integrity and a man of the people. He would make an amazing governor. He gives us an opportunity to feel really good about voting for a change.
